Have your say
On the phone from Spain, Mary thanks Sean for running the pub in her absence. When she returns though, they need to discuss Sean’s future. He’s had the agreed twelve months to run the pub and come to a decision.
Roopa’s desperate to find a job, and move away from her noisy brother and match-making Ba. Roopa offers to be the pub’s sexy new bar maid, but Sean says his Gran already has a claim on that role! Sean admits he also feels trapped. Even if he could afford to travel, he couldn’t leave Mary to run the pub on her own. Sean decides to focus his energy on making the pub run extra smoothly. That way Mary won’t need his help anymore. But the new food ordering system he implements has a few teething problems.
Outside Saffron Ray’s, Brian’s hangover isn’t helped by a nagging call from Mary. She’s checking that her brother’s helping Sean at the pub. Vinnie says he’ll feed Brian when he’s got his paperwork up to date. Since Mani left, Jodie’s been a bit of a tyrant. Jodie’s keeping on top of everything at the restaurant, but Vinnie thinks she just doesn’t trust him. Brian’s also feeling out of favour, after a few joking but negative remarks about Kuljit.
Later, Vinnie asks Sway what’s going on with Jodie and Kuljit. They agree they’ve both been suffering since Kuls and Jodie agreed to give each other some space. The sooner they sort things out the better.
