Nadia has had an email from Jas in New York, which has made her even keener to head off to Pakistan and start doing business. Meanwhile, Kuljit and Sway are doing last minute sound checks for the Diwali celebrations. Mani warns Sway to expect a lecture from Kamla on appropriate music!
Kuljit’s getting ready to move in with Sway. Sway remembers that Kuls gave him stick when he needed to stay over to make room at Nadia’s for Zak. Kuls concedes that Sway has a point.
Zenab’s cooker has packed up, so she’s borrowing Jodie’s at the Pump Works. They talk about Mani and Mushtaq, and Zenab opens up about her time away from her family. Zenab reveals that she met someone in Pakistan who she became close to. Sway pops by to retrieve a cable for Kuljit and Zenab senses that he’s acting strangely. After he goes, Zenab asks Jodie if there’s someone else in her life, and Jodie admits there is. Zenab advises Jodie to make sure whoever it is puts her first.
