Mani’s on the phone to Zenab, making preparations to travel to India and to take a parcel of Mushtaq’s clothes with him. Mani is surprised to discover Kuljit asleep on his sofa. Kuljit pretends he had cramp and relocated so as not to disturb Jodie.
Nadia’s also busy preparing for her travels. Sway compliments Nadia on her new designs and she gives him a big kiss. He always manages to say the right thing! Nadia notices one of her drawings, her design for Jodie’s wedding dress, which makes her think about Jodie’s recent behaviour. How does Kuljit keep up with her?
Later, Jodie comes over to Mani’s and apologises to Kuljit, asking him if he meant everything he said on the barge last Friday evening. Jodie admits they’ve been carried away just recently. Kuljit wishes he’d just told Jodie he loves her, instead of proposing. An emotional Jodie heads back to the café.
Nadia is looking forward to the Diwali do on Saturday. It’s a chance to say goodbye to everyone. Sway reminds Nadia she’s only going away for a few weeks, but Nadia says this trip us massive. Sway then reminds Nadia to ring her mum and dad to let them know she’s coming!
