Imran is raving to Zenab about Nadia’s talents at the fabric fair, but she seems a bit distracted – and jumpy. Zenab tells him to stop fussing – she gets enough of that from Bibi! Imran notices Mushtaq’s lamp, and Zenab gets defensive when he suggests she never liked it.
At the Pumpworks, Zenab is showing Jodie some Eid photos and congratulates her on her engagement –she’s please to see that some young people still believe in marriage.
Elsewhere, Kuljit reveals why he was away last night – he was back in Manchester, ordering an engagement ring for Jodie. Kuljit’s had a change of heart and now knows how much Jodie means to him. Sway’s pleased, but not when he realises Kuls is dropping his work commitments to go and pick it up. Sway’s still not convinced that marriage is what Kuljit wants, but Kuls insists – in fact, he’s even going to take Jodie to London next week to give his dad the good news.
