Kuljit is helping Hassan move out of Imran’s – but Sway thinks it’s an excuse to avoid Jodie. Kuljit owns up to Hassan about the taunts from Arun and that he only proposed to prove a point. Hassan suggests it might be a blessing in disguise – if Kuls shows a bit of courage, maybe he won’t regret his actions and he can show Jodie that he loves her.
Elsewhere, Imran tries to convince Zenab to go back into Silverhill. He knows it’s hard, but Mushtaq wouldn’t want her to hide away. Zenab finally faces Hassan and apologises for her recent behaviour – she is happy for him and Shazia. Not realising Zenab is there, Shazia makes a comment about an ugly old lamp she’s found –which Zenab reveals belonged to Mushtaq.
Jodie invites Sway and Nadia over for a meal to cheer them both up. But Nadia becomes unavailable as Imran is whisks her off to a fabric fair. Then Kuljit drops out, as he has some ‘business’ to attend to, so Sway is left to go round on his own. Sway tells Kuljit he has to tell Jodie the truth – before someone else does.
