Sway is telling Nadia about his plans to cook for Eid, but she’s a bit distracted. Sway just wants to see her happy. Nadia acknowledges they’ve both been ratty recently and says it’s nothing to worry about - they’re only human – but Sway’s concerned it could be more than that. Before they can get into that though, Jas turns up to collect her dandia sticks. Sway heads off and gets roped into helping Roopa lug sound equipment for Pradeep’s birthday bash – and he’s happy to have his efforts appreciated for a change!
Nadia declines Jas’s invitation to the birthday party, as she has to respect family tradition of prayers and Iftari. Jas suggests Nadia stops living in the past and makes the most of the people she has around her – including Sway.
Over at the Chauhan’s, Pradeep is suddenly in the mood to mark his 50th birthday and rummages in the house, anticipating finding a ‘surprise’ birthday cake. He’s disappointed though and can’t believe his daughters don’t have anything planned for this land mark occasion.
