Pradeep visits Hassan’s surgery complaining of a heavy chest, aching bones and breathing trouble. Hassan examines Pradeep and points out that he’s as healthy as a 30 year old - is he not just panicking about his upcoming 50th birthday?! A card from Suresh in the States just makes things worse for Pradeep.
Nadia tells Sway he doesn’t need to keep fasting on her account. It’s not just for her though – Sway reckons he needs to get rid of his ‘love handles’. Nadia misses a phone call from Zak – she reckons he’ll have been calling about Eid, and can’t wait to see him. Next time Zak calls, Nadia catches him, but it doesn’t seem to be good news.
Later on things are tense between Nadia and Sway as they eat their Iftari meal. When Sway criticises Jodie and Kuljit’s engagement, Nadia takes offence, thinking Sway doesn’t see the point in marriage full stop – but she seems more upset at the fact that Sway was out drinking at the Crown – Sway reckons nothing he does is ever right for Nadia – why should he put his life on hold?
