Kuljit still can’t believe that Jodie accepted his proposal. Arun’s not helping; he’s already planning the stag weekend! Kuljit’s desperate, how’s he going to get out of this? He goes round to talk to Jodie only to discover she’s already had a wedding consultation with Simran. Jodie asks him if he thinks Amrit would want them to have a Sikh ceremony? She seems so excited that Kuljit can’t bring himself to tell her the truth.
Shazia complains to Hassan that the expenses scandal has damaged her reputation, as far as the public’s concerned all MP’s are crooked. She’s starting to question whether the job’s worth it. Shazia and Hassan pass on their congratulations to Kuljit; they’ve already heard the news from a very excited Mani. Shazia rushes off to surgery & Hassan collars Kuljit for a few more tips about proposing. Kuljit warns Hassan that once he’s popped the question there’s no going back. Kuls admits he’s no expert - his proposal wasn’t exactly planned. Shazia will be expecting a lot more from someone in Hassan’s position– he’ll have to create the right mood for romance - subtle lighting, a nice meal, music and an expensive gift. Hassan’s convinced that he’s going to mess it up.
