Arun worries that Kuljit’s not proposing for the right reasons. But Kuljit’s sick of him and Sway making out he’s an uncaring cheat - he’s going to make him eat his words.
Meanwhile at the café Jodie’s been telling Nadia that Kuljit hasn’t had much time for her, he couldn’t even pick up the new coffee machine for her like she asked. Suddenly Kuljit bursts in and asks Jodie to marry him. After a stunned silence an ecstatic Jodie says yes. Nadia grabs Jodie and congratulates her. Kuljit is left shaking at her response and tells her he’s going to go and pick up that new coffee machine for her. Nadia can’t believe Jodie said yes, even Jodie admits that she surprised herself, but sometimes you just have to seize the day!
Outside a dazed Kuljit has to sit down. This is all Arun’s fault -he should never have listened to him. He goaded Kuljit into proposing and now it’s all gone wrong. She was supposed to say no! Arun tells Kuljit his days as a free man are numbered!
