Bina wants all the gossip from Roopa about Jonni. Roopa tells her that they’ve been taking things slow. She feels uncomfortable about what Peter told her about the girlfriend back in India. Bina teases her that she’s ‘the other woman’.
Danyal tells Jonni it’s over between them, he knows about Roopa. Jonni denies he’s sleeping with her. Danyal doesn’t care either way he just doesn’t want him breaking Roopa’s heart, she doesn’t need all his emotional baggage. Jonni explains he’s just trying to protect his career, people saw them in the car kissing. But Danyal accuses him of being selfish, it’s not fair to use Roopa as a cover up. Jonni agrees to break it off with her.
Peter warns Roopa that it wouldn’t be wise for her to set her heart on Jonni. Roopa thanks him for the advice but she can take care of herself. Danyal and Jonni find a secluded spot on the waltzers. As they kiss they don’t notice Roopa approach. She can’t believe what she sees. Jonni chases after her – he needs to know if she’s planning on telling anyone the truth? She tells him he’ll just have to wait and see before walking off. Jonni turns on Danyal, this isn’t a joke he’s career’s at stake. A hurt Danyal tells Jonni he won’t waste any more of his time.
