Kuljit offers his services to the film’s producer, Peter, but his black eye gives him away. Peter realises he must be the resident who beat up his locations’ manager. He turns down Kuljit’s offer telling him that he tends to judge by reputation and Kuljit’s reputation’s not a good one.
Roopa goes for an interview as a runner for the film and is star struck when she bumps into Jonni K. Peter starts to get sleazy with her, suggesting she should be after a job in front of the cameras with her looks. He’s annoyed when Roopa can’t stop talking about how wonderful Jonni is. He warns her that if she wants to make it in the industry she can either work her way up or sleep way up, as long as she sleeps with the right people!
Jonni comes across a pensive looking Danyal in a bar. Initially Danyal’s not in the mood for conversation, he’s still unhappy about Shazia’s relationship with Dr Hassan, but after a few shots he starts to loosen up and the two of them get talking.
