Roopa is helping at the City Farm whilst Pradeep and Rita are at the hospital with Uncle Rajan. Kamla thinks Rajan fell deliberately so he can get sympathy from the nurses in hospital.
At the hospital, Uncle Rajan has been assessed and he has a fractured arm. He is being fussy wanting a female nurse to look after him as they are more gentle that a male one! He also needs some fruit! Uncle Rajan is to be assessed by another team just to see how he’s been coping at home. He tells Pradeep that it has been getting harder and harder for him lately.
Rita calls a horrified Kamla to make up the spare bed in Krishan’s room. Kamla knows he’s sucked Rita and Pradeep in with his pretence. Rita reminds her, she doesn’t even live there so it won’t affect her. Roopa tells Kamla she’s got an easier solution, Uncle Rajan can have her room and she’ll live with Kamla, Jas and Sean!
Arun’s glad he’s living with Vinnie and when Roopa tells him where she’ll be living, Arun warns her not to get involved with the Aidan types again, someone will have to keep an eye on her.
Uncle Rajan is to be discharged tomorrow but he doesn’t think he’ll be able to look after himself for a long time yet. Rita reassures him he will be fine once his arm is better but then tells Pradeep that it sounds like Rajan is planning to stay with them forever.
