Kuljit, Sway and Mani are looking for the party venue with an A to Z in their hands. As they head closer to Carter’s place, Mani notices quite a few faces from the past and wonders what he is doing there, maybe they should just turn back. Kuljit’s not giving up, they should just find his master tapes and leave. Stephen, one of Mani’s friends recognises him and offers them a lift, they can go there together.
At the party, Kuljit and Sway tell Stephen that they’re updating some of Mani’s tracks from the sixties ready for a new audience. It seems Mani has disappeared though so Stephen heads out to look for him whilst Kuljit and Sway decide to do some schmoozing with the big wigs from all of the music companies.
Stephen finds Mani in the study looking at the gold discs. Mani can’t believe how friendly Stephen is with Carter after what he did to him. Mani then realises that Stephen didn’t know about Carter taking his music. Stephen wants to have it out with Carter straightaway but Mani insists this is his battle and he will deal with it. He just needs to find his master tapes first.
Outside, there is an altercation going on between Carter and Kuljit and Sway. Sway explains that they got the invite through another contact but a furious Carter knows it was stolen and heads off to find Mani.
