Imran’s heard about the planned concert tribute for his dad and loves the idea. He rings Kuljit to let him know he’s hoping to be back in time for it.
Mani is holding the fort at Parkside. He tells Shazia it’s like putting on an old pair of shoes slipping back into the job. They reminisce, remembering how Mushtaq canvassed for Shazia before she was an MP. Mani confesses how both he and Mushtaq had a crush on her when she first arrived. Shazia soon finds herself telling Mani about her friendship with Mushtaq and how much she regrets not saying goodbye properly.
Sway wants to book Sataree for the concert but Kuljit thinks they’ll be a nightmare. He suggests The Sightseers but Sway doesn’t want Aidan anywhere near the event. Kuljit reassures him that Aidan’s not with the band anymore, he’s a total mess. Kuljit and Sway start to get excited about the concert and how they’ll get some great publicity from it. Suddenly they both stop. This is supposed to be about Mushtaq. They vow they’ll put on the best show ever for him.
Imran’s phones Mani and all his emotions surface. He’s never going to see his dad. Mani counsels him to take one day at a time. His dad was proud of him and he got to say goodbye properly. Not everyone got that chance.
