Brian can’t believe Mushtaq is dead. He reminisces about their friendship, telling Sandra the full story until he realises he needs to ring Rozena. Rozena is distraught, it was all so sudden. Brian says he’ll get on the next flight home; he wants to be there for all of them.
Brian has had too much to drink so Kenny thinks he should stay over, he shouldn’t be alone when he’s so upset. Sandra reluctantly agrees. Kenny thinks they should fly home too as him and Jaggy will be needed at the club. Brian hears this and becomes irate, Mushtaq’s only just gone and if he thinks he can fill his shoes, he’s wrong, Kenny’s not half the man Mushtaq was. Sandra and Jaggy try to calm Brian down but Kenny’s had enough, Kenny knows Brain is drunk and in shock but it’s no excuse for shouting at them. Kenny asks a sober Sandra to take him home.
Kenny and Jaggy have another drink. Kenny doesn’t know what he’d do without his Sandra and he’s glad that he and Darren are friends again. Kenny remembers Mushtaq as a great bloke, they had a few laughs and he gave him a chance, they both raise a toast to him, he’ll be missed.
Brian is devastated and tells Sandra to fly back home with him, they have to grab the chance, life’s too short but Sandra thinks everything has changed now. She leaves Brian alone as he pleads with her not to leave.
