Have your say
Luca’s photograph in his Rangers kit takes pride of place on Mushtaq’s mantelpiece. Imran thinks all Luca does is rant about how great his granddad is but what were those scary dream stories? Mushtaq lies saying he just wanted Luca to find his stories exciting.
Simran thanks Darren for saving Kesar’s life. Darren admits he was petrified as well. So, when Jaggy wants to take Kesar to the park, Simran gives him a few home truths. Will he look after their son this time? He risked Kesar’s life all because he was too pig headed about Darren buying the armbands. Simran reminds Jaggy that Darren saved Kesar’s life and in her eyes, whatever Darren did to Kamal, he has now wiped the slate clean.
Jaggy retaliates; Darren is always in his face while he is forced to sit on the sidelines. This gives Simran the impression that Jaggy’s family come second to football. Simran reminds him that it’s not Darren’s fault that his football career went down the pan.
Imran has bought Luca to see his granddad. Mushtaq makes a point of telling Imran to spend as much time as he can with Luca, he missed out on Rozena and Imran growing up because he was always working. Imran reassures his dad that he’s sticking around for good, going away has made him realise where he really belongs. Mushtaq’s glad, they all need him, the future of the Jilani businesses depends on him.
Jaggy searches for Darren and buys him a drink. Jaggy apologises and admits he hated him going out to bars and living his life but when Darren says he lives with his mum and dad, has a criminal record and hates clubs because they remind him of the night he took a pill and attacked Kamal, Jaggy realises they can be mates again.
