Have your say

Simran’s at a loose end while Jaggy nurses a hangover. She suggests a girlie day out with Sandra to check out a jewellery shop. Sandra hastily makes up a story about meeting an old friend, Linda, and says she’ll call Simran later. Then she beats a hasty retreat to go and meet Brian. She finds him in the bar as arranged but she’s feeling jittery about all the subterfuge and can’t relax.

Simran gets bored with sitting round the pool and tries to get hold of Sandra but she’s not answering. Kenny suggests she tries Linda’s number in the address book. She dials the number and explains who she is but Simran’s surprised to get an earful of abuse … and to find out that Linda hasn’t heard from Sandra for years.

Brian and Sandra get down to some serious detective work but they don’t turn up any leads. By the evening Sandra has finally relaxed and is wishing the day didn’t have to end. She gives Brian a gentle goodbye kiss. Brian returns the kiss passionately, holding Sandra close.

When Sandra returns Kenny mentions that Simran had to phone Linda, trying to get hold of her. Sandra. Startled, Sandra stammers that Linda never mentioned it. Simran looks her in the eye, saying ‘Never mind, as long as you had a nice day, that’s all that matters.’
