Rozena tries to call a truce with Imran for their dad’s sake, but Imran doesn’t trust her. Rozena manages to convince her brother eventually that she’s genuine and tells him about the DVD scan she’s booked so she can show Mushtaq the baby moving. Imran’s all for it, their dad will love it.
Sandra thinks they should visit Mushtaq but Kenny won’t. He reckons Mushtaq’s on his way out and he wouldn’t know what to say to him. Disgusted by his attitude, Sandra goes alone. She tells Zenab Kenny has a cold and doesn’t want to spread his germs, embarrassed to admit the truth. She notices that Zenab looks very tired and asks how she’s coping. Zenab breaks down, she’s afraid that this time she might lose Mushtaq. Sandra comforts her, and when she’s visited Mushtaq she talks to Zenab again, alone. Zenab really needed someone to talk to, and she can’t confide in the children. Sometimes she feels they’ve never forgiven her for abandoning them when she went back to Pakistan. Things have never been the same between her and Mushtaq since then. Sandra knows how she feels. No matter how long you’ve been together, a girl needs to feel loved and appreciated.
