Shazia accepts Hassan’s offer of lunch at his place. As they cook together he broaches the subject on both their minds. He tells Shazia that he although he wanted their date in London to go further he just couldn’t. Since his wife died there has been no-one else. Shazia confesses she feels the same. Her husband is the only man she’s ever slept with. They agree to take things slowly and when the time is right it will be even more special.
Mushtaq takes yet another call from Imran’s ‘Spanish Contact’. When Rozena asks to see the figures for the deal Imran becomes defensive and asks to see the minutes from her meeting with Kenny. Mushtaq tries to calm them both down. They need to be united. Rozena keeps pressing Imran for details though. Cornered, he lies again, saying he’s looking at Spanish property as well. Rozena is outraged that he would consider this in the current climate, but is even more angry that Mushtaq sides with Imran. It’s what he’s hoped for all his life, his son in the family business.
As Mushtaq and Rozena argue, Imran slips out to answer his phone. It’s Isabel…she’s had enough of Imran’s excuses, and she’s not prepared to wait any longer. Either he tells his family about Luca…or she will.
