Rozena tells Mushtaq that he must stay in the office if he’s coming to the football club. But Mushtaq tells her that there is a lot at stake with the club and that’s why he’s on the training ground encouraging the players.
Later Mushtaq is on the phone apologising to a supplier and promises to send a cheque in the next post. Mushtaq tells Rozena the supplier call him because he couldn’t get hold of Imran. He thought the days of avoiding creditors were confined to the past. Rozena quizzes Mushtaq about Imran’s weekend in Spain but he refuses to be drawn on the matter. Mushtaq tells Rozena that he’s been reading up about trust funds for his grandchild and schools which makes Rozena happy.
Simran shows up at the football club and talks about buying the house in Heatherton Wood and how good the area is and how good the schools are. But Jaggy tells her a firm no. They won’t be buying the house. Later at the pub Jaggy points out all the faults with the house to Simran and why they can’t buy it. He tells her that he did put in an offer but someone put in a better one. When Simran goes to the bathroom Jaggy calls the estate agent to sort out the finer details – he has bought the house but doesn’t want to tell Simran as yet.
