Jodie is horrified when Simran confesses she let Darren look after Kesar. However, Jodie is still preoccupied by Kuljit’s attackers getting off scot-free. Just then Kuljit bursts in with news. Bobby from Sitarey has offered to invest in his studio. He’ll be able to offer Ranbir a proper job now!
Jaggy is moaning to Simran about Rozena when the doorbell goes. It’s Darren, returning Kesar’s toy and dropping Simran right in it. Jaggy slams the door on him and tackles Simran. Jaggy is livid that she put work before Kesar. He accuses her of neglecting her son. This really angers Simran because Jaggy expects her to do everything and he should pull his weight. She’s juggling childcare with running two businesses…and at least hers are successful She storms out and she’s still boiling with anger when she bumps into Tyrone, recognising him from the gang. She lays into him saying she’s not frightened of a little boy like him. Incensed, Tyrone pulls out a knife. Simran laughs at him, calling him scum and lunges at him, pushing Tyrone over. Tyrone is taken aback and starts to hurry away from this mad woman as Simran calls after him, “Hey, you dropped your knife!”
