Kamla’s heard a rumour that Dr Hassan was seen rushing to the apartments. Sean is forced to tell Kamla that Rozena was unwell but she’s fine now. Kamla is satisfied. She also thinks they should book Mary and Bill into ballroom dance classes to bring them together. Sean agrees.
Mushtaq pops in to see Rozena. Rozena reassures him it was just cramp and Dr Hassan said her problem was a build up of stress, she’s wound up from not working. Mushtaq thinks Rozena is behaving like a child but she says if he doesn’t give her work, she’ll find it elsewhere. Mushtaq gives in saying she can help out at the football club with marketing and searching for new sponsors.
Sameer reassures Mushtaq that Dr Hassan gave Rozena a thorough examination. Mushtaq thinks he is just a fool, does he know she’s already lost one child? The doctor doesn’t even know her and he’s told her to get stuck into work. Sameer will make sure she takes it easy, Mushtaq says that will be a task, no one’s ever made her do something she doesn’t want to.
Rozena has already lined up appointments with two sponsors if things take a downturn at the club. She will then see what Imran’s being doing with the businesses. She tells Sameer that she won’t let the banks take her dad’s life, his home and his car for the sake of few late nights and a bit of graft from her. Besides, it’s their child’s inheritance too. Sameer knows she’s made up her mind.
