Jas has bought Nadia a birthday present from France. Nadia is envious of Jas’s travelling but Jas reminds her it’s not everything, she’s not in a stable relationship like her, the grass isn’t always greener.
Kamla fills Sean in on the how well the festival went at the temple. Sean reminds Kamla its Shrove Tuesday so he will be making pancakes. Kamla recalls the pancake competition that Pradeep and Jai had one year.
Nadia receives some photos on an email from Zak and her parents wishing her a happy birthday. She gets upset and wishes they were there. Sway cheers her up saying her real present is a surprise. Dinner, then the cinema and she can even decide on the film.
Shazia bumps into Jas at the Parkside and they both think the other looks tired. Jas been travelling and Shazia’s reason is she has something personal on her mind. Jas invites her to confess and she can show her the silk scarves she’s bought from France at the same time.
Shazia tells Jas that she’s worried about a friend who has been seeing someone who is married. This man was not upfront about saying he was married. Shazia has no intention of going down that road again. Jas corrects her; she is still talking about her friend isn’t she or is this about her?
