Kuljit’s on the mend but still taking things easy. The police have been doing door-to-door enquiries round the local shops, including Jilani Fashions where Imran is getting to know the business. Nadia finds it hard to see him as a boss though. She tells Jodie if he’d come back to his job at the Parkside then Sway could have joined Kuljit in the studio. Jodie’s not so sure; the studio doesn’t earn enough to pay another salary.
When Nadia returns Imran is on the phone to Hassan. He’s had another call from abroad for Imran but they wouldn’t leave a message. Imran reckons it must be someone he met travelling and tells Hassan to give them his mobile number if they call again. When he hangs up Nadia asks if he’s given out any more bad fashion advice. Earlier he’d tried to help a customer but the colours he suggested clashed horribly and he pulled the dupatta too high. Luckily Nadia saved the day, jumping in with a more flattering combination. She gives Imran a few tips and gives him an idea. If they employed a seamstress they could alter garments to make them suit different shaped customers! As he goes off to investigate, Rozena rings Nadia wanting a favour. Will she keep an eye on Imran please? Nadia laughs, Rozena wants her to spy on her brother!
Jodie quizzes Kuljit again about the gang, she’s sure he knows more than he’s letting on. Kuljit sighs and confesses, he did recognise them, it was the lads that came in the café earlier. Jodie can’t understand why he didn’t tell Police. Kuljit explains that if he shops the gang they’ll take it out on Ranbir. Jodie doesn’t want to see them get away with it; they could do something even worse next time. She warns him to think very carefully about what he’s going to do before someone else gets hurt!
