Ranbir is mixing a track which Kuljit is very impressed with and he asks him how things have been. Ranbir excitedly tells him he’s been busy and likes the new school and the course. Kuljit thinks he’ll be running his own studio before long. Ranbir asks if he can still keep coming to the studio though so that he can get ahead of the others. Kuljit has no hesitations at all but also suggests taking the dyslexia test now. Ranbir seems unsure so Kuljit doesn’t push it.
Ranbir leaves the studio and walks along the canal leaving Corinne a message that he’s on his way home. He is joined by Tyrone and the lads who start teasing him saying they’ve been to his house but no one was in. Ranbir says his grin is poorly but they don’t care about her. Tyrone graffiti’s on the bridge and gets annoyed when Ranbir says people in the area have been talking to the police so he’d best stop. Tyrone thinks Ranbir must think he’s clever now he goes to school but he’s a nobody.
Kuljit and Jodie lock up the studio to head to the Sheesha lounge to meet Nadia and Sway until Jodie notices the barge door is wide open. Jodie is in tears when she sees that everything has been smashed up. Kuljit thinks they should call the police. Jodie wonders if it was the same thugs that threatened Simran and then asks Kuljit whether he believed Ranbir saying that he keeps himself to himself now. Kuljit knows Ranbir has turned a corner, he seemed happy. Who is to say that Ranbir was distracting them whilst the lads were trashing the barge. Kuljit knows Ranbir wouldn’t do that to them, to anyone in fact.
Elsewhere Ranbir misses his bus home so Tyrone and the lads insist on walking him home. Ranbir tells them he doesn’t want any trouble. Tyrone grabs him reminding him of another job he’s still got to do for them otherwise they’ll pay Kuljit and the studio a visit, or maybe his girlfriend too. Ranbir pleads with them not to involve Kuljit, therefore is forced to say he’ll do whatever they want.
