Rozena’s had a phone call from Kenny. He wanted to talk to her about Darren doing an anti-drugs talk for the Rangers’ homework club as part of his community service. Rozena’s not keen; she doesn’t need any more complications at Rangers just now. Sameer tells her she needs to forget all that and just think about their baby. He doesn’t want her to be stressed with work stuff. Rozena insists she’s not stressing, and they change the subject. Sameer asks when it would be a good time to tell Rozena’s mum and dad the good news. Rozena says she’ll call her mum today, and then she can really start getting on her case.
Meanwhile Mushtaq and Zenab are dealing with another surprise. Imran’s turned up on their doorstep. They’re delighted but Mushtaq’s a little mystified at his son’s sudden appearance without warning. Zenab tells him he should just be happy to see Imran back - he’s always looking for complications where there are none.
Rozena and Imran meet at their parents’ for lunch, and Rozena chastises Imran for not staying in touch more. Imran says he’s sorry about Adam; if he’d known at the time he would have come straight back. Rozena thinks they should all look to the future now. She breaks the news of her pregnancy to an overjoyed Zenab and Mushtaq. Mushtaq thinks it’s important she takes it easy now, and he quietly arranges with Sameer that he’ll sort it out. Zenab’s horrified to hear that Rozena’s considering carrying on working. She thinks the stress will be bad for the unborn baby. Rozena agrees to think about it. Imran defends Rozena, saying Zenab’s only adding to her stress. When their parents go, Rozena jokes that once again she’s stealing the limelight from her brother. Still, he needs reminding who’s top dog once in a while!
