Darren is feeling sorry for himself and Sandra suggests he might go out. Darren reminds her he hasn’t exactly got any friends round here. Sandra reckons it wouldn’t do any harm to heal old wounds starting with making friends at Silverhill Rangers. In fact to help things along Sandra has sent a belated wedding present to Jaggy and Simran on Darren’s behalf. Darren reminds her Jaggy blanked him yesterday but Sandra is adamant he just needs more time. As they talk Kenny rings to say he needs something dropped off at the club. Sandra instructs Darren to do it.
Rozena is getting ready to leave for her scan but is shaking. Sameer tells her to be optimistic. There’s every chance that this baby is fine. Rozena says that’s what they thought about Adam. Sameer admits he’s scared too but they have to take it one minute at a time. At the hospital Rozena gets cold feet and almost leaves just as the sonographer calls out her name. She takes Sameer’s hand and braces herself.
Elsewhere Jaggy falls over one of Kesar’s toys. Simran suggests it’s time to buy a house. Jaggy reckons the market isn’t great but obviously family is more important than bank balance. They are interrupted by the concierge delivering Darren’s present. Simran guesses Sandra is behind it and says you can’t blame her. She is just trying to get Darren back into Jaggy’s good books. You’ll do whatever it takes when it comes to your child. Anyway they need to find a house with a designer kitchen to accommodate their designer spice rack. Later Jaggy runs into Darren at the club but doesn’t want to speak to him. Darren reminds Jaggy they were good mates once. He has served his time and learnt his lesson. Is he the only person to have ever made a mistake? As Darren pleads for another chance Jaggy walks away saying he can’t help him.
Back at the hospital Rozena and Sameer are relived to find everything is normal. Sameer wants to tell everyone their good news but Rozena suggests waiting until after the weekend. They should hold on to this precious moment just a little bit longer….
