Kenny needs to collect some papers from his desk at the football club but Darren refuses to go in there. Kenny instructs Darren to face whatever it is he is frightened of and deal with it. No son of his gets to be a coward. Now is he coming or does Kenny have to drag him? Inside the club Sameer is trying to locate a file for Rozena. He rings her saying he can’t find the ‘yellow’ one but then discovers it is there after all. He would have found it sooner had she given him an accurate description. Rozena tells him she feels sick and his ginger tea isn’t exactly helping. Sameer reminds her it’s is a sign of a healthy pregnancy but Rozena has heard enough and hangs up.
Kenny sits Darren down in reception but Jaggy walks in and stops dead when he sees him. Darren tries to make small talk but Jaggy walks back out where he bumps into Sameer. Jaggy explains his shock. He can’t believe Darren is out on day release already. Sameer reminds Jaggy that Kamal got justice because of Jaggy testifying against Darren. Jaggy supposes he is right and then asks how Sameer and Rozena are doing. Sameer says they have a lot on their minds right now. Jaggy wonders if they are still trying for a baby. Sameer says they are. Jaggy tells him it’ll happen when the time is right.
Elsewhere Darren describes Jaggy’s reaction and adds he knew it was a bad idea to come here. Kenny tells his son to stop the dramatics. Once the football world sees Darren work his magic on the pitch all will be forgiven. Darren doesn’t think his dad’s plan is going to work but Kenny says he’ll be the judge of that. Jaggy and rest will come round soon enough!
Rozena tells Sameer what she is really afraid of. It’s the twelve week scan tomorrow and what if there’s something wrong again. She couldn’t bear losing another baby. And what if everything is OK? Does that mean they aren’t grieving for Adam anymore? Sameer tells her they’ll never forget Adam but they have to believe in the future. For now he is taking her out for lunch and shopping. Whatever happens tomorrow they are in this together….
