Kuljit apologises to Aunty Basant about how he handled things at Ranbir’s school. Basant is annoyed with him because he’s meant to be setting an example for Ranbir and it might not be a bad idea to listen to what Ranbir wants. Basant reckons they should give Ranbir some space.
Jas takes Greg to the Pumpworks on his late night before returning to America. Greg can’t believe she’s giving up New York for dull Silverhill. Jas explains she’s not giving it up, she’ll be working just as hard but she needs to be close to Roopa if she ends it with Aidan. She and Arun are the only ones that know about Aidan’s drugs.
Kuljit asks Basant what she thinks Ranbir is up to in the daytime when she only sees him at night. Basant thinks he plays computer games at his friend’s houses. Kuljit tries to explain that he may be on the streets. At that moment, Ranbir walks in knowing that they are discussing him. He’s only come to collect his coat. Kuljit apologises and offers him some tracks to master if he’s interested. Ranbir thanks him.
Greg asks Jas where she will stay, on the freezing cold narrow boat again? Jas knows Greg will miss her which is why he’s trying to talk her out of staying. Greg laughs about how he is going to get himself a love life now that she’s returning with him to the big Apple. He plants a big kiss on her cheek, New York won’t be the same without her.
Ranbir’s home and Basant informs him that one his friend’s has left a package with her to give to him saying he would understand what it was. Ranbir heads upstairs to open the package, he rattles it and gets a knife to see what’s inside.
