Sandra is fussing awaiting Darren’s return for day release from prison. A tearful Sandra hugs Darren as he walks in. Kenny asks whether the Muslim gang is still bothering him but Darren wants to talk about the future and playing football again. Kenny reminds him he needs to show people that he’s changed. Sandra thinks he should get his name about the place and tell kids of the menace of drugs. Kenny also says that he is bad publicity for any club at the moment. Darren thinks he needs bigger exposure than the community stuff but Kenny reminds him until he gets full day release, he can’t join a club anyway. Darren will do whatever his agent tells him to but Kenny doesn’t think he has one anymore.
Kamla visits Mary telling her about how Rita is mad at Pradeep for arguing with Aidan’s parents. Mary wants to hear more about America though. Mary senses Kamla is missing Silver Street when she says she has nothing to do there.
Darren calls his agent Jake and after being on hold for a while, Jake is surprised that Darren still wants to come back as a player. It will take him a while to become match fit and besides no club will want bad press. Darren says he needs to show people he is a changed man. Jake reminds him he cost him his money and credibility when he was convicted and wishes him all the best.
Mary reassures Kamla that Rita would love to have her back. Kamla reminds Mary that they’ve redecorated her room but then starts to think, she needs to be around for her friends and she certainly knows she’s not ready to sit back in life just yet.
When Darren tells Kenny that Jake has other clients, he apologises to Kenny saying that he will rebuild his reputation his way. Kenny suggests starting with anti drug sessions at the local community and if he can get one of Kamal’s friends on his side, they can turn it around. They’ll begin with Jaggy.
