At the Parkside Centre Suresh is practising his lines as Abanazar with Aidan filling in as Aladdin. However Suresh has trouble perfecting the street-wise patter leaving Greg and Jas to look on in amusement. When Aidan heads off to finish his music for the show Suresh panics, he has six more pages to get through. Jas and Greg end up on stage with Suresh to help him out, with Greg opting to read the part of the Princess! Suresh still struggles even with Jas and Greg’s encouragement. That is until Greg suggests he treats the audience as thought they’re all pharmaceutical reps, and tells him to imagine that he’s selling the part as though it’s an insulin pen!
Over at Jaggy and Simran’s apartment Jodie and Simran are also discussing the production, and the fact it’s become more of an ‘R&B video with gangsters’ then a traditional panto. Simran is worried that it might now be too adult for Kesar. The conversation turns to Jodie’s relationship and she admits that everything is going well, except for the Ranbir problem. Jodie is worried that he’s a loose cannon and, if Kuls fails to prevent him from going off the rails, he may never want to mentor again.
As Jodie gets up to leave Simran remembers that Kesar made her a Christmas card and, as she empties her bag to find it, Jodie notices a rape alarm and pepper spray. Simran tells her that after what happened Jaggy won’t let her leave the apartment without them. She admits that she feels silly as the boys didn’t actually do anything to her. However Jodie is quick to point out that they still intimidated her, which is a frightening experience. When Jodie asks whether Simran recognised any of the gang she replies that she didn’t think so, and so Jodie is quick to reassure her friend that she will probably never see them again.
Back at the Parkside Centre Aidan is on the phone to a dealer friend who seems to have heard that he is involved in a panto. Aidan is quick to dismiss it as a ridiculous rumour and arranges to collect some skunk in ten minutes. After his call he notices that Greg is standing behind him and Greg reassures him that he won’t say anything about it. However when they shake on it Aidan starts to hurt Greg’s hand. Luckily Jas walks in on them and Aidan storms off. When Jas asks what Greg said to Aidan to make him leave mid-rehearsal Greg tries to brush it off but Jas notices his hand. She demands to know what happened, after all Aidan’s dating her little sister!
