Kenny comments on how bad some of the players are at the football training session but Sandra is more concerned about saying goodbye to the Dattanis. Kenny can’t understand why, they only sponsored the stand, they’re not royalty! Kenny is also disgruntled that Sandra is off to see Darren again. Sandra explains that he seemed really down but Kenny thinks Darren will get a reputation of being a mummy’s boy so she should cool the visits.
Jodie heads to the barge and tells Kuljit how she feels. She loves him but she doesn’t know how she feels since they’ve been apart. Kuljit even offers her his friendship but she definitely wants more than that. Kuljit explains that her and Mani are always going to be a part of each other but with him, she gets a choice of whether she wants him or not.
Back at Silverhill Rangers, Kamla is overwhelmed at seeing Mukesh’s name on the stand. Sandra comforts her saying Mukesh is there in spirit but Kamla is really crying over Jai, she wished he could have been there. Sandra offers to call Jai but Kamla rushes out in tears.
Jodie needs to sort Kamla’s birthday cake out and invites Kuljit to Saffron Rays later. Jodie wants Kuljit to move in whenever he wants but Kuljit says she can take as long as she wants with Mani, he has a very understanding landlady!
Suresh drives Kamla home and warns her not to raise her hopes. He knows that Jai won’t ring her on her birthday. Kamla believes deep down Jai is a good boy and he belongs with his family, he knows that. Suresh seems unsure, prompting Kamla to ask whether Jai said anything to him before he left. Suresh lies and says he didn’t say a word.
