Have your say
Roopa gets a rude awakening when Aidan, in the middle of a nightmare, grabs her around the throat. She has to kick him to wake him up. She jumps out of bed and spends the rest of the night on the sofa. When Aidan gets up in the morning Roopa tackles him, convinced that it’s all the skunk he’s smoking that’s causing his bad dreams. She’s worried he’s hooked on it. Aidan protests he can handle it as he looks around for his bag of skunk. When Roopa tells him she’s flushed it down the toilet he goes mad and it’s obvious he’s more hooked than he’ll admit. He grabs Roopa and drags her to the phone to get him some more, hurting her. Roopa’s had enough and yells at him to leave her alone, she never wants to see him again.
Sameer fills Rozena in over breakfast about the dreadful auditions he’s sat through. Rozena’s not listening to him though, and peeved, Sameer gives up and heads off for a shower. Rozena puts her head round the bathroom door and shouts to Sameer that she’s popping out to the surgery. Sameer wonders what’s wrong with her so Rozena drops casually that she’s just going to make an appointment…with the midwife! Sameer gapes at her as she confirms that yes, she is pregnant! Sameer jumps out of the shower and soaks her as he hugs her tight in his delight.
Roopa pops into the sheesha lounge tell Vinnie she’s decided not to audition for the panto. She only finds Arun though. Roopa looks around and thinks the place looks great, but she can’t understand why people want to smoke the horrible stuff. Arun’s surprised how strongly she feels and protests that it’s just flavoured tobacco, not hard drugs. Roopa’s sorry to have had a go at him and explains it’s just that she’s fed up with Aidan constantly on the spliffs. Just then her mobile rings, it’s Aidan. He’s full of apologies and tells Roopa she’s right, the stuff he’s been smoking made him go weird. Roopa’s arm still hurts from when he grabbed her and she’s not going to come round easily. Aidan desperately announces that he’s chucked all his rolling gear away. He’s clean and that’s the way it’s going to stay. He’s giving up the skunk for good.
