Mohit takes Mani back to his house to recover. Mani appears depressed and keeps telling Mohit that he doesn’t want to put him to any trouble.
Jodie needs to discuss Saffron Rays with Pradeep and also takes the opportunity of asking how Krishan is after Birdyman’s death. She was sad for Birdyman but relieved that it wasn’t Mani. Pradeep thinks she needs to be positive. Before Jodie starts chatting about the restaurant, Pradeep needs to get something off his chest before she gets to find out from someone else. Pradeep explains Arun and Vinnie’s new sheesha lounge enterprise but reassures her that they have had a good telling off. Jodie thinks it’s a fantastic idea as it’s keeping with the times and it’s radical. Pradeep is shocked and tries putting her off by saying there is no space but she is determined to make room.
Mohit can’t believe that Mani stayed in a B&B. Mani explains that he went to the bank and they treated him like a tramp off the streets. Mohit reassures Mani that he has family and he was close to dying so he has no need to be on the streets.
Jodie is excited and talks about whitewashing the walls of Saffron Rays backyard and getting comfy sofas in. She is interrupted by a call from Mohit to tell her that Mani is safe but before Jodie launches into her questions, Mohit reassures her that Mani will be in touch. Jodie immediately spreads the good news and reckons he’ll be home in a couple of day’s time. Kuljit is aware that she will need time alone with him so offers to stay at the barge.
When Mani hears that Mohit has told Jodie, he gets angry saying he’s not ready to talk to her yet and when she sees him, she’ll remember all the terrible things he said.
