Roopa moans to Arun about having to go to Uncle Rajan’s because she’d made other plans. Arun’s annoyed too because it’s ruined his birthday weekend. Secretly Roopa phones Tim to cancel the photoshoot but she’s delighted when he says it would be even better to do it in Leicester. She hurriedly cuts the call when she sees Aidan as she still hasn’t mentioned it to him. She’s annoyed to see he’s smoking a spliff. She’s just bought him a take away because he said he was skint but he can afford that! Grumpily she tells him that she’s decided to go with her parents for Diwali in Leicester after all. She draws away when he tries to kiss her and says she doesn’t fancy going to Steve’s tonight. Can’t they go to her place instead? Aidan knows they can’t though. He reckons her parents will never trust him. Sighing, Roopa agrees.
Vinnie’s searching for the peach resin. Suddenly Arun remembers hiding it in the kitchen. He tries to sneak it out in a tin of palm sugar while Pradeep is in the loo but he’s too late. Pradeep spots the tin and grabs it, he thought they’d run out and he needs it. As Pradeep starts to spoon the contents into a curry Arun panics and grabs it back saying he thinks it’s off. Pradeep sniffs it and agrees; it does smell odd. Relieved Arun says he’ll dump it and rushes upstairs to give the resin to Vinnie. Pradeep hears music coming from the flat and is suspicious that something odd is going on. He goes upstairs to the flat. Arun spots him through the spyhole and goes outside to talk to his dad. Pradeep can hear people inside and smells something strange. He pushes past Arun into the flat and sees exactly what is going on. Vinnie tries to protest that its all perfectly legal. Pradeep laughs, they’ve got permission from Mani then have they? And a licence? He yells at Arun to get everyone out; and get the pipes out as well. They might think this is funny but they won’t be laughing when they get the sack…will they?
