Have your say

Arun isn’t happy about Vinnie giving out free nibbles in the sheesha lounge. Mani won’t be pleased when he discovers his stock has disappeared. Vinnie reminds Arun that Mani isn’t here so they should be making the most of their nice little earner. Arun has to admit they are doing well financially. If they carry on like this they will be making more from the sheesha lounge than the restaurant itself. Vinnie says the woman on table five is moaning about everything. Arun tells him that’s Simran’s mum Surinder and she is doing the same to him. The boys laugh about how she got into a scrap with Bobby’s wife at the bhangra band reunion. Arun says she might be a pain but they need to keep her sweet. They are launching the bhangra CD at the café tomorrow. Arun worked on those tracks and wants to be there. Arun spots Surinder clicking her fingers and tells Vinnie it’s his turn.

Elsewhere Shazia is preparing dinner but Dr Masud isn’t hungry. He is tired and might lie down for a while but stumbles as he gets up. Shazia immediately helps him to the sofa saying she’ll call the doctor. Her dad insists he doesn’t need one. Shazia suggests getting him a blanket but once out of earshot she calls Dr Hassan who says he’ll be right over. Dr Hassan thinks Wahid might have diabetes but they’ll have to wait for the results to be sure. He tells Shazia it’s fairly manageable these days. He then teases Shazia about her chapattis saying he uses yeast to make his less flat. Shazia changes the subject asking if her dad will be well enough to have his poetry night in a couple of weeks. She invites the doctor to come along. He offers to cook some Egyptian dishes but Shazia insists she is an expert when it comes to dishes from Egypt and won’t need his help.

Back at Saffron Rays the boys discover the takings are missing from the till. Arun can’t understand it. Pradeep is in New York and Mani isn’t around. Vinnie reminds Arun the only other person with keys to the safe is Mani. Arun says he’s right but why would Mani steal cash from his own till?
