Jaggy and Simran return from their honeymoon to find Simran's parents are settled into Jaggy’s apartment. So they decide to leave them in peace a little longer and they head for Simran’s flat. As Jaggy dumps the heavy bags he wonders what Simran’s been buying. She ticks things off on her fingers, beach towels, toys, oh and a holiday home! They enjoyed the holiday so much that they’ve bought a property in Santorini! Just then Simran comes across a pile of messages and flicks through them. Excitedly she pulls one out and shouts to Jaggy that a footballer wants her to plan his wedding. Jaggy’s never heard of him though and goes off to have a shower singing all the way. Simran tells him to keep the volume down because she’s going to ring Jodie.
Jodie wants to hear all about the honeymoon but she clams up when Simran asks how she is. Simran keeps digging though until Jodie tells her the whole story.
Mary decides it’s time she talked to Mani to try and get him to give Jodie some space. Mani’s at home feeling sorry for himself and blaming Fran for all his problems. He answers the door to Mary with a half empty whisky bottle in his hand. Mary takes the bottle from him despite his protests that he’s not drunk, and heads for the kitchen to make some strong coffee. Mani drunkenly debates why Jodie would react the way she has. He wouldn’t do that, he’d listen. Mary reminds him that Jodie probably has a bit more of Stella in her. She turns round with the coffee and biscuits to find that Mani has disappeared.
Jodie is still pouring her heart out to Simran when she hears glass smashing outside. She peers out the window and sees Mani clambering onto the barge. He bangs on the door shouting that he finally understands. Jodie isn’t like him, she takes after her mother. Stella couldn’t forgive him either. Simran can hear the commotion and the fear in Jodie’s voice. She tells Jodie that she’s coming straight over with Jaggy. Jodie screams at Mani to go away and that Jaggy’s on his way. Mani shouts back that he doesn’t care, he’s leaving like she wants him to. When he screams ‘Goodbye Jodie’ it sounds shockingly final.
