Sway and Nadia are spending Eid with Zak as it’s bound to be a sad time for him. They rave about the fabulous meal he’s cooked and can’t wait to see what’s for dessert. Zak suddenly remembers he’s forgotten to pick up the cheesecake he ordered from Jodie. Sway jumps up telling Nadia to put the kettle on while collects it. She yells at him not to be long, she’s got some news to tell them.
Sway arrives at Pumpworks in the middle of a bitter argument between Jodie and Mani. Mani won’t leave the café but Jodie can’t bear to look at him. Seeing how upset Jodie is Sway tries to persuade Mani to leave and let things cool down. Eventually Mani listens to reason and he slopes off. Jodie breaks down and Sway decides it would be best to close the café so he gets rid of all the customers. When everyone’s gone Jodie pours out her heart to Sway about how she used to fantasise about her dad, making up stories because she couldn’t bear to think he’d just left them. Then suddenly, Jodie decides she’s spent too long agonising over Mani and briskly pulls herself together and fetches Zak’s cheesecake for Sway.
Meanwhile Zak and Nadia wonder what is keeping Sway. He isn’t answering his phone and he’s been gone nearly an hour. Finally Nadia gets fed up of waiting and leaves a stroppy message on Sway’s phone to say they’ll be at the sheesha lounge. They’ve only been there a few minutes when Sway rushes in full of apologies. Zak fears a row as Nadia is fuming so he hurries off to find Arun. Sway explains his absence to a very sulky Nadia but she can’t stay mad with him for long because he makes her laugh too much. They make up and are soon tucking into the cheesecake together and Nadia announces her news. Rozena has offered her the job of managing Jilani fashions. She hasn’t decided whether or not to take it but she’s really chuffed that Rozena asked her. They look around them at the crowd of customers in Vinnie’s flat and Nadia wonders how long the lads can keep it a secret from Mani. Sway reckons that they are in luck as Mani’s really got his mind on other things right now.
