Have your say
Arun and Vinnie’s sheesha pipes have arrived and the hapless pair try to set them up without any instructions. They heat the coals but Arun manages to drop them. Vinnie doesn’t want holes in his carpet and urges Arun to pick them up. Stupidly, Arun grabs the red hot coals and gets a nasty burn. Vinnie rushes downstairs for the first aid kit and in his hurry, lets the answer phone pick up a message for a table booking. As Vinnie tends to Arun’s wound they argue, both feeling that the other isn’t pulling his weight. Arun’s worrying about how much they still have to do, while keeping a low profile from Mani. Vinnie reassures him, he’ll see to Mani, then its all systems go for Wednesday.
Kuljit finally catches up with Mani at home and tries to persuade him to come out with him for a walk. Mani declares he’s going back to bed even though it’s only 6 o clock. Kuljit really wants to talk to him though, he’s concerned that Mani might pull his investment out of the studio. Mani’s not even thinking about the studio, all he’s worried about is Jodie.
Down in the restaurant the customer who left a message earlier has come in to check his table booking is ok for tomorrow because no-one called back to confirm. He says he wants to make a good impression on his new colleagues. Arun apologises and sorts him out a nice table. The customer spots Arun’s burn and asks what happened. Arun explains about the sheesha pipe, unaware that the customer is actually Dr Masud’s replacement at the surgery. Just then Kuljit comes in with some CDs of the Sataree session for Arun as well as his cut. Dr Hassan leaves them to it and wanders off. Kuljit tells Arun that Ranbir never stops going on about him and Vinnie, seems like the pair are his new heroes.
Vinnie calls on Mani to see how the land lies. Mani has no interest in Saffron Rays at the moment or anything else. He tells Vinnie just to look after things himself, he can do what he likes with the restaurant.
