Have your say
Kuljit and Arun are on their way to find Lally. Kuljit fills Arun in about the way Pritam flew off the handle with him. Arun reckons the split must’ve been over more than just musical differences. But he’s optimistic that if they get all the other members on board, then Pritam won’t be able to resist. Kuljit just hopes they can find them all, no-one’s seen Indy for fifteen years!
Arun and Kuljit arrive at Lally’s to discover it’s a funeral parlour. It gives Arun the creeps thinking about what’s inside the coffins, especially when Lally offers to open one up. Kuljit gets back to the matter in hand and explains what Bobby wants to do. Lally’s reluctant and Kuljit quizzes him about why the band split. All Lally will say is that Bobby and Pritam fell out over a woman. It gets Lally thinking about the old days and before long he’s agreed to do it. He points Kuljit in the direction of Liverpool, opposite Anfield stadium, to find Indy, that’s where he was last sighted.
Kuljit and Arun head straight up there and go knocking on doors. They finally strike lucky at a derelict house when Indy sticks his head of an upstairs window. Indy doesn’t want to be found though and he chucks a bucket of water at them drenching Arun. He’s convinced they‘ve been sent by the landlord for rent money. But when Kuljit shouts up to him that Bobby sent them and that Sataree are getting back together Indy is down like a shot. He grabs his Dhol on the way, if Sataree need him, he’s there!
So everyone’s on board, except Pritam. Kuljit goes back to have another go at persuading him, Pritam is adamant he won’t change his mind and he’s anxious that Surinder might hear them. She’s commandeered the plasma screen to watch her soaps and banished Pritam from the room. Pritam tries to hustle Kuljit out but Surinder has caught some of their conversation. Kuljit leaves, defeated as Surinder asks what was the reunion they were talking about. Pritam tells her that Sataree is getting back together. Surinder flies off the handle and forbids him to have anything to do with it. But it’s a red rag to a bull and all of a sudden Pritam forgets about the band’s differences and he’s packing his bags.
