Kuljit leaves Arun at the studio telling him to keep an eye on Ranbir. Kuljit is heading to Saffron Rays to see Mani but Arun says he’ll have a job as he’s not been seen there for a while now.
Ranbir turns up at the studio and tells Arun that Kuljit is avoiding him since the incident at the Mela, he’s ruined his chances with Kuljit. Arun informs Ranbir that Kuljit has so much more going on in his life, he’s sure he’s not still worrying about what he did at the Mela. Ranbir is still angry with himself for messing up until Arun comes clean. Arun confesses that he broke the input jacks for a laugh. Luckily, Ranbir finds it funny. It seems Arun is warming to Ranbir and invites him along to Saffron Rays to prepare food!
Vinnie is making the menu board more visible and talking to Mani who just disappears as Kuljit walks in. Arun, Vinnie and Ranbir discuss everyone acting strangely, Mani looked rough, Jodie hardly leaves the barge and Kuljit has been cancelling bookings. Ranbir starts peeling spuds as Arun and Vinnie discuss their new venture of opening a Sheesha lounge above the restaurant. Arun thinks it’s legal as long as you don’t get caught! Vinnie knows Mani’s in his own world, he won’t notice but Pradeep might. Arun recalls Pradeep going to New York to see Kamla and Jas, the coast is all clear! Ranbir raises a tenner to get involved as Vinnie discusses buying Sheesha pipes.
Vinnie thinks Ranbir deserves a free curry on the house for the work he’s put in helping them prepare. Kuljit’s been to Mani’s house but there was no response. Back at Saffron Rays, Kuljit is pleased to see Ranbir and then takes a call from the DJ at Jaggy’s wedding. Someone has a work proposition for him. Kuljit tells the others that it sounds promising but they’ll discover what it is next week.
