Jaggy discovers Pritam consoling himself with whiskey. Jaggy says he offered to pay for the wedding so everyone could have a nice day and apologises for the truth coming out. Pritam wishes he had never agreed to let Jaggy foot the bill. Now everyone knows and to top it all Pritam is nursing wounds after a fight with Lucky. But the worse thing is that Surinder will see Pritam in the same light as everyone else. A pathetic man who couldn’t afford to pay for his own daughter’s wedding!
Kuljit and the DJ discuss how women always bring men down and suppress them. Take Pritam for example. He was in a successful bhangra band once and now he has no fighting spirit left. Kuls reckons Surinder must have brought him down to earth and forced him to join the rat race. Elsewhere Jodie apologises to Simran for her part in everyone finding out Jaggy and Simran have a child out of wedlock. Simran says she’s relieved the truth is out now but she’s more interested in what’s going on between Jodie and Kuljit. Jodie doesn’t want to talk it about just now and promises to tell Simran everything when she returns from honeymoon.
Jaggy tells Pritam how it felt to be told to pretend he didn’t have a son. He only slipped up to Gurpreet about paying for the wedding because he was so frustrated about that. Jaggy says he’s proud to be Kesar’s father and doesn’t regret telling everyone. Pritam acknowledges it was a mistake to force Jaggy and Simran to deny Kesar’s existence. Jaggy says it’s about the future now and two families becoming part of one another. Meanwhile Gurpreet offers Surinder a peace offering of tea and apologises. They agree it’s the men who let things get out of hand. Surinder jokes they are good for one or two things but are they really worth all the irritation!
Simran requests a song from the DJ explaining she wants a dance with her son. Jaggy turns up and joins in. Simran asks how Pritam is but Jaggy says he’ll be fine. For now they should enjoy the moment – just the three of them….
