The DJ recognises Kuljit as someone he knew years ago. Kuljit tells him he could do with putting something upbeat on. The DJ plays a track by the band ‘Sataree’ sampled by Kuljit years ago. Kuljit reckons all he needs now to add to the day from hell is someone from the band finding out he sampled their stuff. The DJ says the father of the bride was in the band and judging by the smile on his face Kuls has nothing to worry about.
Gurpreet tells Mohan she can’t believe Jaggy has told everyone he and Simran have a child out of wedlock. All they need now is an ear bashing from Surinder and the job will be done. Lucky shouts over that he is really enjoying the food and free bar leaving Gurpreet wondering why he is giving them the credit. Mohan admits he might have let slip that Jaggy paid for the wedding and not Simran’s parents. Mohan realises things are about to get worse when he spots a furious Surinder heading their way.
Kenny and Lucky are talking about the effect Jaggy’s confession has had on the guests when a journalist approaches wanting a few words with Kenny about the wedding. Lucky heads off to see what all the commotion between the parents is about. After a while the reporter starts asking questions about Kenny’s son being in jail for carrying out a racist attack so Kenny decides to make a sharp exit too.
Pritam is trying to calm Surinder down as she accuses Jaggy’s parents of being relaxed about what Jaggy did because they weren’t the ones who paid for everything! Surinder then diverts her attention to Lucky and tells Gurpreet to sober her brother up. Lucky retaliates by asking why he shouldn’t drink all the whiskey when it was his nephew who paid for the wedding. Surinder turns to Pritam to tell her this isn’t true. Pritam is silent for a moment and then hits Lucky in the face. As the two men fight Surinder is horrified as she realises the journalist has captured everything on camera…..
