The guests are enjoying the wedding reception. Surinder checks all is OK at Jaspal’s table. Jaspal makes a comment about the men in Jaggy’s family being big drinkers. She supposes Surinder doesn’t mind now they have accepted Jaggy despite his history. Surinder asks what she is talking about. Jaspal says they know Kesar is Jaggy and Jodie’s son from a previous relationship. Everyone heard Kesar call Jaggy ‘daddy’ at the Gurdwara. How can Surinder explain that?
Elsewhere Jaggy is asking Gurpreet to control Uncle Lucky who is drinking whiskey with Kenny. Maybe they should get Lucky to eat something? Gurpreet says they should after all it’s a fancy menu. Simran’s parents really went to town on it once they knew Jaggy was paying for everything. Jaggy reminds his mum she promised she wouldn’t bring this up. Gurpreet says she has held her tongue and Jaggy suggests she hold it just a bit longer! Later, Gurpreet compliments Surinder on the menu and says the whole wedding must have cost a fortune. Surinder says they weren’t worried about the expense. Gurpreet sarcastically agrees – why worry about money at a time like this!
Kuljt persuades Jodie to come outside for a talk. They head off with Kesar in tow. Once outside Jodie reminds Kuljit this isn’t the best time or place to discuss their relationship. Kuljit says he needs to explain how Mani lured him into his web of deceit. Kuljit knows it was wrong to go along with Mani’s lies but he thought he was protecting Jodie. Suddenly Jodie looks around and realises Kesar isn’t with them anymore. She immediately turns on Kuljit. Once again he has ruined everything!
Elsewhere Kesar runs over to Jaggy. Jaspal tells Jaggy his son is the spitting image of him apart from the eyes. They are definitely from Jodie. Surinder desperately tries to deny Jaggy is Kesar’s father. Jaggy decides he has had enough of the lies and heads off saying they have to stop. Surinder rushes over to Gurpreet saying Jaggy is about to do something stupid but it’s too late. Jaggy has grabbed the microphone and proposes a toast to his amazing wife Simran who has given him the best gift a man could want – a son like Kesar!
