Simran is dressed in her wedding outfit and Jodie tells her she looks stunning. Simran admits she is nervous but Jodie assures her everything will be fine. Simran thanks her for everything she has done and jokes she might be arranging Kuljit and Jodie’s wedding some day. Jodie reckons it won’t be anytime soon. They are interrupted by Pritam who becomes emotional at the sight of his daughter. Jodie goes off to get Kesar dressed. Pritam says he thought they agreed Kesar wasn’t coming but Simran says it’ll be fine. He will be in the background with Jodie besides it’s too late to change things now.
Jaggy arrives at the Gurdwara on horseback and is greeted by Pritam who gives him a wedding gift of a Kara (religious bangle) to wear. Jaggy thanks him and promises to take care of Kesar and Simran for the rest of him life. Pritam responds by hugging him.
Later Jaggy and Simran are in the middle of the ceremony when Kesar tries to break free from Jodie shouting for his ‘mummy’. Jodie grabs him as some of the guests mutter their disapproval of Kesar’s behaviour. Later as the wedding photos are being taken Kesar is still crying. Simran reckons it was a close call before and Jaggy agrees it wouldn’t have been the best way for the family to find out they are Kesar’s real parents. Simran wants to go check on him but Pritam quickly discourages her saying he’ll go.
Pritam offers Kesar biscuits to quieten him down and tells Jodie they’ll be heading off to the reception soon. Jodie wonders if Kesar might be needed for the photos but Pritam says there’s no time for more photos. Pritam returns to find Jaggy isn’t happy about not being allowed to take photos with his son. Simran suggests they might get some pictures with him at the reception but Jaggy says it won’t be the same.
As the guests pile into their cars Kesar runs towards Jaggy shouting out ‘daddy’. Pritam grabs him and tells Jaggy to get into the car. As a murmur breaks out amongst the guests Jaggy tries to convince Pritam that no-one heard….
