Jodie visits Mani and sarcastically makes a comment on him going on holiday without telling her as he’s been so quiet in the last few days. Mani’s excuse is that he’s been busy with the restaurant. Jodie gets annoyed with Mani pretending that everything is fine and then shouts at him to stop playing stupid games.
Jaggy and Simran decide who will look after Kesar on the wedding day. Mary saves the day when she looks at how miserable they look. Jaggy and Simran explain their predicament which Mary fully understands as she’s been through it all with Sean when he was young.
Mani is still pretending he doesn’t know what he’s done but Jodie tells him that Kuljit has told her everything and even now, Mani still can’t admit the truth to her, he’s still acting like a coward and not having the guts to admit the truth.
Simran and Jaggy look into the logistics of how Mary will look after Kesar in Southall but it seems silly when they realise she will be heading south just to babysit and miss the wedding too. Jaggy makes a decision, they will both be at the wedding, they will make sure Kesar stays out of the limelight.
Mani explains that he was in a weird place in his life when Stella told him about her but Jodie wants to know about the here and now, what excuse does he have to lie to her face now? Just at that moment, Kuljit walks in and Mani immediately blames him for making him burn the letter. Kuljit defends himself, he begged Mani to tell Jodie the truth, Stella was giving him the opportunity to be a father to his daughter and he ignored her. Jodie tells them they’ve both broken her heart and it’s sick that they’re blaming each other. Mani made her hate her mum, how can she forgive him for that? Jodie leaves not wanting to see either of them ever again.
