Jodie reassures Simran that Jaggy will come round, he just needs time to think. Jodie then tells Kuljit how she can’t comprehend how Simran and Jaggy’s parents want to pretend they don’t have a grandson. Jodie leaves for work and Kuljit leaves a message on Mani’s answer phone, he will not keep his secret from Jodie any longer, he is going to tell her.

When Jaggy confronts his mum about how upset Simran is, Gurpreet tells Jaggy to stop acting childish. She knows what these gossipy women are like, they will gawp at Kesar. Also, he can’t ruin Pritam and Surinder’s day after what they’ve spent on the wedding. Jaggy blurts out he knows exactly how expensive the wedding is as he’s paid for it so he will say whether Kesar is there or not! Jaggy immediately regrets saying this and makes his mum promise that she’ll stay schtum.

Kuljit chases Jodie up the road, they need to talk and it can’t wait. He leads her towards the warehouse and at first avoids what he needs to say. Kuljit wants to know if she loves and trusts him because things will never be the same once he’s spoken. Kuljit reveals that Mani lied to her, he knew about her, Stella had told him years ago.

Simran’s upset, their son is caught in the middle of what is meant to be their happiest day but she doesn’t want people to say nasty things that’ll hurt Kesar on the day. Jaggy reassures her that they will be spending the rest of their lives together and if it’s easier all-round then it’s the way it has to be. Simran is relieved. Now, they just need to find someone to baby-sit Kesar!

Jodie can’t believe Mani would have lied to her. Kuljit tells her that Stella sent Mani a letter which he burnt. Jodie wants to know how Kuljit knows all this. Kuljit pleads with her, it’s not his fault, Mani dragged him into it. A distraught Jodie runs out of the warehouse telling Kuljit not to follow her.
