Have your say
Jodie hands an extra strong coffee to Simran who needs it to pluck up the courage to tell Jaggy that their parents don’t want Kesar at the wedding because people will talk. Simran’s afraid that Jaggy will blame her. They are interrupted by Kuljit who wonders why Simran is looking so stressed. Jodie explains she’s got a lot on with the wedding but she will make sure that things don’t get on top of Simran, you have to protect the ones you love after all.
Kesar is dancing to his favourite song and Jaggy is egging him on to show Simran as she enters the house. Jaggy thinks he’ll be showing everyone up on the dance floor at the wedding. Simran gets annoyed, it’s all about showing off with Jaggy. Jaggy doesn’t understand why she’s so angry.
Back at the café, Kuljit is surprised Jodie is alone, usually Fran or Simran are there. Jodie has sent Fran to get some supplies so she could get some space from her, she was constantly asking if she was ok. Kuljit changes the subject and asks if Jodie knows where Mani is but Jodie is too preoccupied with thinking about who will run café whilst she’s in Southall. Kuljit’s phone rings, it’s Ranbir and Jodie warns him to answer it, he’s been ringing all week and she’s not going to keep taking messages for him.
Kuljit is abrupt with Ranbir, he’s been busy which is why he’s not returned his calls and after what happened at the Mela, Ranbir’s going to need more supervision, he will ring him when he can.
Simran is getting sick of Kesar dancing to the same song. Jaggy thinks they should get him to do a routine with it. Simran can’t believe what she’s hearing. Jaggy reassures her that the wedding stress will be over in a few days. Simran is then forced to admit that Kesar won’t be at the wedding because tongues will be wagging. Jaggy is flabbergasted but he insists Kesar will be at the wedding, he’s not going to hide his own child for anyone.
