At the spa Simran’s masseuse compliments her on her lovely figure. She can’t believe Simran is a mum with a shape like that! Jodie tells her how cute Kesar is and how he’ll be the star of the wedding. Simran suddenly seems uncomfortable, declaring that Kesar isn’t good with crowds and will only get upset. Jodie’s confused that Simran doesn’t seem to want Kesar at her wedding! She grills Simran until she gives in and confesses that her mum is putting pressure on her to keep Kesar away from the wedding to prevent any gossip. Jodie’s shocked they could even think about trying to hide Kesar. Deflated and upset Simran just wants to go home so Jodie has to reveal her surprise. She’s organised some of Simran’s friends to come for a mini hen party at the spa. Simran protests that she’s not in the mood but she’s no match for Jodie and the party kicks off with a vengeance.
Kuljit’s spent an uncomfortable night on the studio couch. He’s awakened by his phone ringing, its Mani trying to track him down. Kuljit bites the bullet and goes to see Mani who is still plotting to get rid of Fran. Kuljit sits him down and breaks the news that Fran knows the whole story. Mani is thrown into a panic, he desperately tries to think of ways of keeping Fran away from Jodie but Kuljit has had enough of the lies. He advises Mani to tell Jodie the truth, before Fran does. Mani won’t even consider it though and in his terror he lashes out at Kuljit threatening to pull his investment out of the studio unless Kuljit helps him. Kuljit accuses Mani of trying to blackmail him. Just then Kuljit’s phone rings. Mani sees Jodie’s name flash up on the screen and tries to wrestle the phone from Kuljit, punching him in the process. Kuljit fights him off and answers the phone trying to sound normal and pretend nothing’s happened. As he ends the call he tells Jodie how much he loves her. Mani has calmed down by this time and apologises for his behaviour. Kuljit knows that Mani only lashed out because he was scared. Gently he tells him that Jodie deserves the truth, and if Mani won’t tell her…then he will.
