Simran gives Jodie the outfit she found for her in India and it fits like a glove. Jodie wonders when she’s going to get to see the holiday photos but Simran nearly explodes, it was no holiday! She had Jaggy’s mum on the phone everyday warring with Surinder about the wedding clothes…and the food…and the jewellery. Jodie has a great idea to de-stress Simran, her hen party will be a spa break. Two days of sitting around in robes relaxing. Simran tries to protest that she doesn’t have time but Jodie won’t take no for an answer and Simran has to give in.
Mani finally catches up with Mohit and demands to know exactly what he said to Fran at the party. Mohit reassures him that he said nothing about him or Stella. Mohit wants to know why Mani lied to Jodie in the first place though. Mohit has no sympathy for his cousin; he should have faced up to his responsibilities when Jodie was born. He urges Mani to tell Jodie the truth now; she’ll understand that he’s not the same man now. Mani protests that he can’t. Mohit calls Vinnie over for some more tea. Vinnie’s keen to impress his dad, telling him the chai is his own recipe. Mohit tastes it and as usual, he criticises it. Hurt, Vinnie loses concentration and spills the chai all over Mohit’s jacket. As Vinnie tries to remove the stain Mohit remarks pointedly to Mani that it’s not so easy to erase the mistakes of youth.
Jaggy has put on his wedding sherwani and dressed Kesar in his matching outfit to surprise Simran. When she gets home Jaggy makes her close her eyes and leads her to the bedroom. When she opens her eyes she sees Kesar dressed like a mini groom. Simran is overcome with emotion and hugs her gorgeous son. Jaggy asks her to take a picture of them together in their outfits but Simran reacts strangely. Jaggy wonders what the hell is going on when all of a sudden Simran can’t wait to get away and she rushes out of the flat!
